A lot of this is technology screwing with men's brains. They don't understand that social media/online dating and the real world aren't the same thing.

They see the attention women get online and conclude that they have no chance of getting a cute girlfriend of their own. Failing to notice the obvious fact that, in the real world, the ratio of men to women is still roughly 1:1.

While these kinds of comments have a grain of truth to them, they're massively overblown.
