Ah. So it's a US concept only? And how is the rest of the world supposed to know this when reading? Do you assume that everybody on the internet is from the US? It would be a typically American thing to do so.

And why would black American culture be called "Black"? Why not "Black Americans"? It makes no sense. I wouldn't call black British people "Black", I would call them "black British". What makes Black Americans so special that they get to claim the word "Black"? It's just confusing to everybody and makes no logical sense.

Basically, anyone outside the USA has no idea what you're talking about. Including me. It just sounds like absolute nonsense.

It's probably because Americans automatically assume that the world revolves around the US. Perhaps in your mind "black people" automatically registers as "black people in the USA".

There are black people all over Europe, but they're not included in "Black"? They would instead be called "black" without a capital B? It simply makes no sense whatsoever. and it's needlessly confusing for everybody.

I agree that I should take my own advice and "let it go". Logical incoherence does get under my skin though and I often can't help but get involved. I can't just let utter, illogical nonsense be spread far and wide unchallenged.

This "woke" nonsense needs to be challenged and confronted whenever it pops up.

Only Americans capitalise the word Black and not White. It's just another weird, uniquely American thing that nobody else in the world understands.
