All media changes the structure of your brain. (As does everything you expose it to)

If you spend 4 hours a day watching TV, your brain will get very good at being passive.

And if you spend 4 hours+ a day frantically flicking between tabs, switching from one piece of content to another, your brain will get very good at focusing on things for 5 minutes at a time.

If, on the other hand, you spend 1 hour a day reading a book with no distractions, your brain will get very good at focusing on a task for a long period of time.

They say you are what you eat. Well..

You are the media you consume.
