A lot of women simply aren't interested in working in hugely demanding jobs with long hours.

It's not that they don't have the ability to do these jobs, it's that they simply don't want to/don't enjoy doing them. So they often CHOOSE less demanding jobs. And that's perfectly fine and sensible.

It's not necessarily a smart choice to spend your life working endless hours at someone else's company just to obtain a few more material possessions.
