Argh, I find finance advice coming from people from the US confusing. A lot of stuff just doesn't translate well to Europe.
"Build your credit". I think: ...Why?
"You're a fool not to get a credit card", some people say. I think:..Why? (it's because US credit cards actually have good rewards, European ones tend not to.
"Collage is too expensive". Yeah, in the USA. Doesn't apply to most Europeans.
And..what the frick this 401K I hear so much about?
Also, salaries in the US seem to be astronomically high compared to Europe. I hear 22 years olds saying "I make $60k a year" WHAT?! HOW?!
It's all just super confusing as someone from Europe.
