As an expat living in Vietnam, it has to be said that the government here did an outstanding job.
Hand sanitiser was available absolutely everywhere in Ho Chi Minh City. Supermarkets, gyms, apartment blocks and basically everywhere you went.
They were incredibly pro-active during the Buddha Bar incident in a way that my own country, UK, was not. While the UK was still allowing music concerts in March, Vietnam was taking the virus seriously.
I don't like communist governments, but they seem to be incredibly effective in these types of situations.
