Before Elon Musk's takeover, Twitter was censoring all kinds of people; constantly.

People who spoke up against US foreign policy. People who gave counter-narrative information about anything to do with COVID-19.

And yes, the political right was unfairly banned and censored far more than the political left.

It's a shame trans people are being censored. And I'm against that. But the overall landscape of Twitter is MUCH better now.
