Despite any bad actions he may have done, he isn’t a grifter. Corrupt? Evil? Greedy? Maybe, I haven’t looked into it.

But there’s no doubt that he’s excellent engineer and entrepreneur, and certainly didn’t become successful through grifting.

A grifter is a scammer or swindler who fools people out of their money. This can’t possibly apply to Elon.
