Exactly. It's absolutely mad that social media is available for 13 year old's, and below.

Why are our institutions so useless at regulating technology? Because everyone in charge is simply too old to understand or even notice the problems caused by new technologies.

They always act 15 years too late.

The blatantly obvious course of action is to put a legal age limit of 18 on all social media. But nobody will do that because that would lose big tech A LOT of money.

We will always be heavily encouraged to accept and use new technologies because money flows in the direction of more technology. There are billions of dollars to be made in getting us to accept these technologies, while there is no money in encouraging us to limit our behaviour around technology.

In the coming years, we will be encouraged to use and accept sex robots, VR porn as well as body-stimulating "sex-tech". It will all be used by 13 year old's and younger, because nobody is going to regulate it.
