Female fields are not “devalued by the patriarchy” Actually, how.. EXACTLY are they devalued. This statement is very vague. So I’ll give you a more specific explanation.
Female fields of work, which tend to be focused on people (nursing, therapy etc.) rather than things (business, software development etc) are impossible to scale. You can’t scale these fields because they require 1 to 1 interaction with people.
That’s why they’re usually paid less - because they’re harder to monetise.
How could a female field such as nursing ever earn big money? The nurse needs to interact with her patients one at a time. A software developer can create an app and sell it to thousands.
It has nothing to do with patriarchy.
As for the crazy Christians in the US, I’m sure they’re still out there doing crazy christian things as they’ve always done.
