I love Medium as a platform, but it's a silicon valley based company. The prevailing ideology in this part of the world is essentially being a misandrist is "impossible" because we live in a patriarchy. I find it unlikely that they would change anything.

Despite the fact that Medium is an international company, we all need to adhere to the ideology present in a small area on the west coast of the USA.
