Honestly, I could get behind the idea of men dropping many of their common toxic behaviours, violence, misogyny and so on.
But the way the whole toxic masculinity thing is presented is just so unbearably patronising and belittling that I just can't.
Even the tone of this very article: "Living life outside the man box".
"Men then proceed to whine about..." why characterise it as "whining"?
"Your tenuous manhood".
This is the kind of tone that just makes you want to grate your face with a cheese grater. And it's also why men don't listen to this stuff.
