I read your article that suggests that guilt or shame has something to do with people's issues with pornography.

This is NOT what's going on here (Although I suppose it's probably true for some people).

Pornography is an incredibly strong stimulus that many people, the biological beings that they are, find it incredibly hard to resist.

I've noticed a big generational gap in thinking on this issue. From your picture, you must be 30-40? (sorry lol, just a guess). I'm 29. Myself, and others my age went through puberty with access to high-speed pornography. Many millennials have been watching porn daily since they were 12 years old and their brain went through puberty with daily use of pornography. This is a fundamentally different experience than those in older generations have had.

Porn addiction hasn't been scientifically proven. Yet nor was video game addiction, until it was.

There's plenty of research on this topic, though it may not be conclusive. https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/research/

And again, this has nothing to do with religion, or believing porn to be wrong or shameful.

I'm the opposite to you, a few years ago I would have believed that Porn is perfectly fine. Nowadays, believe it to be an addictive stimulus that should be treated with care.

I have a feeling that in a decade or so, the negative sides of porn will become more obvious.
