I suppose then I would question whether these attitudes from men that are still around are hangovers from the past, and not due to how the culture currently is.

Of course, the men in those examples are morons. It's possible that this kind of behaviour is more common than I'm aware, I'm not going to pretend I've done extensive research on the topic. You definitely have more data and evidence to back up your claims than I do.

I would imagine that boys growing up in Gen Z right now probably feel very much like the culture is pro-women and anti-men.

Now then, "throws like a girl" is a perfectly reasonable insult. Why? Because on average women don't tend to throw very well. Sorry, that's just true. I mean, men's bodies specifically evolved to throw weapons at prey. If you're a feminist, you might immediately view it as sexist, if you're not you might just think it's accurate.

And what about "pussy". Well, men are more prone to risk-taking behaviour, women are less so. Being a "pussy" means that you're acting in a stereotypically womanly way, which is not desirable for a man who wants to be respected amongst his peers. But none of this necessarily says that women are "inferior", and I think it's typical for feminist academics to immediately assume that it is.

Also, it's just a word! How much does it actually matter?

There was hugely popular meme going around Tiktok last year stating that "men are trash". If you want to talk about language, then why not talk about this explicit anti-male language? Feminists didn't seem to care or notice that one.
