I think the biggest myth of all is that the Americans and the British were the ones to beat the Nazi’s.

It was the Russians who destroyed the majority of the German army and conquered Berlin. And they lost 8.6 million young Russian lives in order to do so (in comparison to 400,000 American soldier deaths).
