Isn't America always missing the point about everything?
Ever since I can remember, America has been having some kind of moral panic or outrage. Seriously, can you remember a single year where America didn't seem to be collectively losing its goddamn mind over something?
It's like the entire country thrives on scandals and outrage. Every single time some kind of controversial event happens, everyone needs to get involved somehow. Some use it to virtue signal to their friends, others use it to attack those they don't like, and virtually nobody attempts to see an accurate view of events, in a rational manner, without seeing it through their own personal lens.
First, its absolutely insane that an 18-year-old can legally charge around with a rifle in a public place like he's playing GTA. Yet on the other side, it's equally ridiculous how the general public in America have reacted to the event.
Screaming. Shouting. Moaning. When will people learn to calm the fuck down, look at the statistics and have a clear-minded discussion of the facts?
Do blacks get shot more by police? Show us the data. What are the possible solutions to the problem? Research the topic in-detail and figure out what reasonable, realistic solutions could be implemented to reduce the problem.
Otherwise, the outrage over guns and race in America will just go on and on and fucking on. Every single time someone gets shot, the entire country with lose their mind with outrage again and again and again.
If someone truly cares about this problem, they should stop virtue signalling on Twitter, stop holding signs and shouting nonsense in the streets, and start seriously researching a solution.
