Isn't of saying "the past is present" why not say: the past is relevant to the present.

The goal of Martin Luther King was colour-blindness. To not be judged by the colour of your skin, but the content of your character. Are you saying he was wrong?

Colour-blindness should be the ultimate goal. Instead, people are not only focused on race, but hyper-focused. They see racism even where it doesn't exist.

What exactly has this latest "anti-racism" movement of the last few years actually achieved? It seems that it's done nothing other than stir racial tensions to boiling point, instead of allowing the residue of America's racist past to fade away.

Progress was already taking place. The west, including America, is one of the least racist societies to ever exist in human history. Can you name a society outside of the west that's less racist than ours? No. There are none. And never have been.

This movement has no perspective whatsoever.
