It can be a bit of an uphill battle for unattractive women because us men really are very visually based. Women who are built very tall, or with big, broad shoulders might have a bit of a struggle on their hands.

Having said that, I think if an unattractive women can be someone a man can relax around, someone who is enjoyable and fun to spend time with, a lot of men would happily partner up with a woman like that. Especially as men get older, a lot of men just want a drama-free, fun, easy-going life, and start caring less about getting a "hot" woman.
