It's not about saying that Americans shouldn't fight against discrimination where it exists in their own country.

It's about recognizing that woke ideas like "all white people are privileged" and "we live in an oppressive patriarchy" can be put into perspective when we look outside of America. After all, if America (a country where women are free to do more or less whatever the hell they want) is an oppressive patriarchy, then where in the world ISNT an oppressive patriarchy?

And yes, black Americans do have some privileges when compared to others around the world. That sounds shocking to Americans, as they've never in their life heard anybody talk about privileges held by black Americans.
