It's true that feminism ignores biological realities and often shames male dating preferences.
However, I'm not convinced by the evolutionary argument here. In the tribal environment we evolved in, did we really have such exclusive partners?
The Book Sex At Dawn suggests that we frequently shared partners and all took care of each other's children. In other words, in the tribal environment, the man didn't give much of a damn which kid was his or which was another tribe member's.
Even on a personal level, I'm a man, but body count has never had much of an emotional impact on me. I don't feel any particular attraction towards virgin women. And women with, say, a 30+ body count doesn't feel like a turn off for me.
OK, maybe if the body count was into the 100's. But generally, I don't care much about body count. And I am DEFINITELY not a feminist of any sort.
