None of this makes sense.

The fact is, women’s basketball has far less of a following than men’s basketball. Less tickets are sold. Less merchandise is sold. And therefore women’s basketball players get paid less.

There is less media coverage because media companies realise that not enough people would watch women’s basketball games, and therefore they wouldn’t make much profit from advertising during these games.

If media companies believed that there was a giant audience for women’s basketball, they would capitalize on it. Why on earth would they ignore such an incredible business opportunity?

Feminism constantly makes the same mistake of assuming that it’s sexism every single time there’s a discrepancy between male and female outcomes.

In many cases, like this one, there are perfectly logical reasons why men may get paid more than women. Its called business.
