Not the “colonizer” thing again.

A language inevitably had to become the world-language. English isn’t a bad choice to be the world language.

No colonizer purposefully forced the English language on everyone. The USA emerged out of WW2 the most powerful economy in the world, and inevitably English became the world’s language of business.

And as a British guy who has spent the last 3 years learning Spanish and 6 months learning Vietnamese, speak for yourself.

So sick of the “colonizer” narrative thrown at everything.
