People generally refuse to acknowledge the existence of hypergamy because it's simply too dark, too real and mentally traumatising for people. So they'll find random reasons to explain why it doesn't exist, or why it doesn't matter and so on.

You're right that hypergamy is a thing, but it's not as extreme as a lot of red-pillers make it out to be.
