People in general just aren’t inclined to care or have sympathy for struggling men. It just isn’t in our biology.

A crying woman inspires strong feelings of compassion and a willingness to help inside of us. A crying man? We simply don’t feel the same way.

This is for evolutionary reasons, as in terms of the survival of the species men are not expendable and women are not.

All other explanations are just surface rationalizations.
