Racism isn’t a pandemic. It’s built within human psychology. We’re evolved for tribes, to have an in-group and an out-group.

On top of that, in the past, having contact with other races would have meant coming into contact with noval and deadly diseases.

All of this is built into our psychology. We have what you might call a racist “program" in our brain that can be activated under the right circumstances.

Of course, racism is dumb as hell, as human beings are more or less the same creature.
