Rishi Sunak Sent A Letter To My House
So I decided to analyse it and mercilessly destroy it
I decided I was analyse and tear apart Rishi’s stupid letter that he sent to my house. Are you ready?
Let’s start with the photo. They purposefully chose a photo with Rishi the little pipsqeak wearing a high-vis jacket in an attempt to subconsciously signify to us that he’s “one of the people”. As though he’s “down in the trenches” with the rest of us, battling through tough economic times.
We’re supposed to subconsciously read the rest of the letter through the filter that the image puts us through.
The reality is, of course, is that Rishi-kun has never performed a job that requires a high-vis jacket in his life. And the attempt to pretend that Rishi Sunak is ordinary person just like us is transparent and cringe-inducing.
Ok. Onto the test itself.
“It’s been a tough few years for families across Britain” Oh, has it? And your policies wouldn’t have anything to do with that, would they Rishi-boy?
Throughout the letter, he tries to suggest that the hard economic times British citizens are going through are just a matter of circumstance, and have nothing to do with his government.
