Sowell is an excellent writer. His book “Basic economics” was fantastic.

But if people you don’t like, like him, the you are obligated to hate him, right?

Classic tribal thinking. Why not judge his work by the merits of his ideas, rather than which group of people he’s popular eith.

Sowell and Friedman did “damage” by being popular and having views that you don’t personally agree with.
