The crash test bias does seem to have truth to it. Again, this does not impact the maneuvering of the vehicle.

I'm not sure about the safety belts but, again, they do not impact the maneuvering of the vehicle.

The steering columns seem to discriminate against short people, which would include short men. Personally, as a 6'1 man, almost every car I get into doesn't have enough leg room and can make driving very uncomfortable.

Isn't it more likely that the natural biological differences between men and women cause the difference in driving abilities on average? Men and women evolved over millions of years to be better at different things.

We're happy to accept that men are more likely to do dumb things on the road, but we're not happy to accept that women may have worse hand-eye coordination on average?
