The entire culture is constantly talking about racism towards black people. What's the point in adding one more voice saying exactly the same thing: "I am against racism towards black people". Well obviously, this goes without saying. Racism is foolish and morally reprehensible. Everybody knows this by now.
Why am I not actively outspoken about racism? Well I could ask a black person: Why aren't you more outspoken about the modern slave trade? Why aren't you more outspoken about sex trafficking? Not everything is about race, and there are plenty of other problems in the world that are more important than racism.
You can be outspoken on a small number of issues, and be aware of the others. Why should racism be at the top of my list rather than other issues?
