The origin of the word doesn’t matter whatsoever. The meaning of the word has evolved and no longer means what it meant in the black community previously.

People keep going to the origin of the word as if it’s some kind of “gotcha”. It’s not. It has absolutely no relevance.

“Wokeism” is now an ideology comprised of critical race theory, feminism and other such things.

If you can’t see that this particular ideology has taken over American institutions, then perhaps it’s because you’re inside the ideology yourself. Because to an outsider, its plainly obvious.
