The problem is that when we try to explain everything in the world based on "nurture", we end up trying to fix unfixable problems.

If there are more male engineers than female engineers, we assume that it must be due to a problem with the culture that we can change. It isn't. Males are simply more inclined on average to be interested in engineering due to their built in psychology.

Ignoring the "nature" side of things leads people to become confused about why things are the way they are. "Why do young girls prefer to play with toy dolls and young boys prefer to play with toy cars?!

The answer? Nature.

Those who know nothing about the nature side of this argument will be forever confused about questions such as these.
