The problem with Medium is that it requires quantity above all else. You’re financially rewarded for churning out article after article, and the quality of the article is neither here nor there.

I rarely see anything spectacular on Medium, and the so-called “top writers” aren’t particularly talented, they just consistently put out articles about trending topics.
