The reparations to the Japanese were given to the people who were actually wronged. Not to their descendants hundreds of years later.

You may have benefited from the unpaid labour of black slaves over a hundred years ago, but so have modern black people.

All modern people have also benefited from the close-to slave labour of poor white people of the industrial era.

Who's going to pay the reparations? Specifically those who are direct descendants of slave owners, or randomly picked demographics?
