They were and are very much in danger of happening. The current administration continues to foolishly escalate the war by providing more and more powerful weaponry to Ukraine.

Trump is more interested in negotiating with Putin, which has the chance to end the conflict.

The current US administration is heavily influenced by the military industrial complex which profits from war. Which is why they want the Ukraine war to continue indefinitely rather than being resolved; because they're making billions of dollars selling weapons.

Nuclear war is very much on the cards right now. As is the end of humanity.
