They will likely only understand the problems with porn and video games after years of engaging with them. It’s not obvious in the beginning. And they’ll likely see you as just a nagging mother who doesn’t get it.

There should of course be classes in school about these 2 things. But that’s just a pipe dream at this point.

As a young man in the modern world it’s difficult and confusing to figure out how to meet women. They may want to meet women, but how? Upon becoming adults there are no natural “3rd places” where you bump into women and bond over something.

What usually happens for a young man is that he will walk around expecting that at some stage he will meet someone organically. But after years of this simply not happening, he will then finally take the necessary steps needed to meet women in this strange modern environment.

Your sons are probably expecting it to happen organically somewhere, somehow. And for millions of years of human history, it would have happened naturally. But in our weird modern world, they will eventually realise that meeting women often doesn’t happen for years at a time, unless you force it.
