They're free to focus on the trans-atlantic slave trade. They're not free to talk as though that's the only slavery that ever happened.

All races have committed atrocious unforgivable acts. They speak as though it's only white people who have done so.

When you say "slavery", but are actually refering to one particular period of slavery in one particular location. That's misleading.
