This has been happening since 2010, when Facebook turned the whole world mad.

Personally, I watched in horror as everybody started adjusting their behavior to fit with the new technology of Facebook.

People started taking selfies. Even guys started trying to make their eyes look pretty in their selfies. People started basing their holidays around photos, rather than the other way around.

Honestly, as an 18 year old, it was alienating.
