To be fair, men do tend to be the ones to actually physically do the building. Next time you pass a construction site, take a look at who's doing the building.

Women generally aren't interested in doing a job like that, and more power to them. I don't want to work in construction either.

I don't want to say "men built the world" but I can say that men overwhelmingly built the infrastructure we live in. And they also tend to be the ones who maintain it.

When young women walk around saying "men are trash" they would be good to remember that without men they wouldn't have any of the modern luxuries that they use on a daily basis.

It would be nice to see a little appreciation for the vital role that men play in modern society.

Women also "built the world". They had to take care of the children, do all the housework and more or less held the entire society together emotionally. And yes, they were forced to do so.

But we need to appreciate the efforts of both genders. And not just celebrate women over and over again, while ignoring the vital role of men. Without the efforts of hard working men, we would not have the infrastructure that we have today.

It is true that some people shout "men built the world" as message of superiority, and I don't support that.
