While some digital nomads are numpties, I’m fairly sick of the attacks against them.

Immigration happens all over the world. The UK, my country, has had rent prices driven up by Russian billionaires and Chinese, particularly in London. Yet, If I moved to Mexico and drove the rent prices up there, That would make me a sinner of some kind?

There’s more to this story as well. If foreigners pay more for rent, that means that more money is entering the Mexican economy, making the country richer.

A digital nomad gets paid online from an American company, that money then ends up in the hands of a Mexican landlord. So, digital nomads make the country richer. What am I missing here?
