“Women don’t need men” she says, filled with self-confidence and a proud smirk on her face.

She walks through the modern city, iPhone in one hand, coffee cup in the other. The streets are busy with loud, annoying trucks. She grimaces in distain at the unpleasant drilling sound at the construction site nearby

She enters the lobby of her office building and steps into the elevator. It safety takes her up to the 24th floor. She sits down at her computer and starts her work day. She pushes the on switch of her computer, and it turns on without an issue.

She has her own job. Her own money. Her own apartment. Her own hobbies. Her own circle of friends for emotional support.

She smiles.

She feels powerful. Strong. Majestic. Powerful. Independent. And she certainly doesn’t need men.

This modern women is living her life. Focusing on her goals. Her life. Her achievements. Her daily tasks.

And yet, unknowingly, she lives inside a bubble. As she goes about her day, there are certain thoughts that simply never cross her mind.

She uses her iPhone to text her client, but never does it cross her mind…
