Wow. You actually did it. And in a single day? Nice work ethic you have there.

Most of the article is fair and accurate. It’s a great piece, honestly. And super refreshing.

It will be interesting to see just how many claps/attention this one guess. My prediction is that you won’t get many. Saying something negative about men is an excellent way to get attention on Medium. The reverse? My guess is this one will get far less of an audience (Even though it’s well written).

Also, I find it hard to imagine a man writing an article with a headline like that. He would probably get destroyed in the comments, no matter how reasonable his points.

Ok. Onto the article.

“When you read articles from sex writers you immerse yourself in a bubble, where women are smart, decisive and empowered”

Yes. This. Inside this particular filter bubble women are all beautiful, smart and empowered beings. All of the negative realities of the real women that men deal with on a daily basis are not included.

“She expects mind-reading”

This is a common one. Women expected men to think the same way they do. Men and women have different psychology. We don’t have the same incredible social mind-reading powers that women do.

It’s the oldest story in the book: The wife gets mad at the husband and he has no idea why.

“She was traumatised”

This is real and common. I’ve experienced it first hand.

“One form of internalised misogyny is that women are shaming themselves for their own sexuality, just like patriarchy does it”

Does this really still happen in the west? What I see are girls from 18–30 essentially doing whatever the hell they please. On websites like Fetlife.com they are able to fully express their sexuality.

Who still judges women for their sexuality? If people still do this in the west they’re certainly outside my bubble.

So. Nice work. Appreciate the effort.
