It's great to see someone on Medium talking about things that are truly important.

This is THE problem. The problem of problems. Especially in the USA.

Shareholder value is put above the well-being of humans. That's why we have addictive foods everywhere (more than 50% of USA is overweight or obese now). This why all our social media is mind-blowingly addictive, and there's very little care over the effect it has on the mental health of teenagers.

The western world, especially the USA, is becoming more and more corrupt by the hour for this reason.
