You're underestimating the Chinese Communist Party. They DO have access to all the data available on Americans through TikTok. This isn't something Trump made up.

With this data, the Chinese communist party would have the ability to push civil unrest within the US if they so please. In my opinion, banning TikTok makes perfect sense.

I also haven’t seen any evidence that Gen Z is significantly more enlightened and knowledgeable than any other group of people.
